At Blue Table Flowers we lean heavily into failures so we can make huge gains quickly. One of our very favorite words on the farm: pilot. We pilot a lot. Small experiments, inviting failure instead of dreading it. Small risk, huge reward.

Don’t get us wrong, we don’t love failing! But we don’t dread it either. Sometimes you can learn more from what didn’t go well than from 1,000 successes. Lean into failure flower friends. It is a glorious teacher.

We are a tiny, no-till farm in West Michigan. Zone 6b We love building community by sharing what we’ve learned, and we are smart enough to know that many of you know more than we do. We hope that in sharing our pilots, you can gain some insights and move toward your goals. If you have information that would help us out, we’d love to hear from you! We are especially interested in fermented soil and natural amendments to improve our microbiome in 2026.
