Boring but important information about your CSA bundle membership.
Hello flower friend! We are thrilled that you want to share in our Wonder. We have very high standards, and we promise you beautiful, fresh flowers for whatever CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) bundle membership you choose. Welcome to the Blue Table Flowers community!
As thanks for supporting us, you will receive an invitation to hang out on the farm for an evening in September when the dahlias are in their full glory. (Date will be announced in 2026) We’ll share some refreshments and chat about what we’ve got going on at Blue Table Flowers. We look forward to meeting you!
Where do I pick up my flowers?
Pick up will happen at our property. We will put your bundle on the stand with your name to reserve it. If some nefarious scoundrel happens to take your bundle before you get here, just text us and we’ll make things right. (And they might try to grab your bundle, cause yours will have the best ingredients we can offer. That’s our reward to you for being part of our team.)
We are interested in adding pick up locations in Zeeland, the north side of Holland, and Saugatuck/Douglas. If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming a CSA pick up spot, let us know!
I want to gift a CSA, do you have something I can give to the recipient to explain what they will receive?
You can share this document of FAQs with the lucky giftee. For photos and descriptions of specific CSA options, use this document.
Can I have my CSA bundle delivered?
We are excited to announce that for 2026, we are adding a limited delivery option.*
Wednesdays we will deliver in the city of Holland, north to Riley Street in Holland and Park townships, and in the city of Zeeland.
Thursdays we will deliver in the city of Holland and to the cities of Saugatuck and Douglas.
Fridays we will deliver in the city of Holland.
The first time we drop off, we will deliver your flowers in a bucket. The water in the flower bucket will have flower food and preservative, and we highly recommend you use it in your vase to extend the life of your bouquet. Leave your clean bucket out each week and we will add fresh water to it, along with your flower bundle. You do not need to be home to receive the CSA bundle. Just leave a clean bucket out for your flowers.
*Delivery is new to us. We are trying to establish the most efficient routes possible as we have very limited staff. We will contact you with more information as we get closer to the time of your CSA. Please be patient as we figure this out.
How will I get my flowers home?
The first time you pick up, please take the bucket home along with the flowers. The water in each flower bucket will have flower food and preservative, and we highly recommend you use it in your vase to extend the life of your bouquet. Bring the bucket with you each time you come if you’d like to take your flowers home in a water source.
What can I expect in my weekly bundle?
We promise that you will have fresh, top quality seasonal flowers each time you come. If we’re not proud of it, it doesn’t get included in your bundle. It’s that simple. Each week, you will receive a bundle with all the makings of a bouquet which you can assemble at home. Some of our friends actually dump the whole bundle straight into a vase cause they think it looks great when they get it. You could be that person, too.
If you’d like a few pointers on flower arranging, you can sign up for our workshop Wonder. Or just sign up if you think it would be fun, cause it will be! Take some friends along and share Wonder with your people.
How long will my flowers last?
Flower Care
Please know that local, farm grown flowers only survive for so long. You are not buying carnations that have been flown in from Ecuador! (hurray for you!!!) You can expect a good vase life from the flowers you receive (usually a minimum of 5 days), but some items won’t hold as long in a bouquet. For example, some of the most beautiful dahlia varieties only last about 3 days. But don’t worry, the vast majority of flowers we grow were chosen specifically because they hold at least five days in a vase.
What if I can’t make it to pick up?
If it’s just a matter of waiting to pick up until the next day, it is not a problem. We will keep your reserved CSA bundle on the stand until Sunday morning. You can pick it up when it’s convenient for you, but it may not be as fresh as the day you were scheduled to pick up.
If you are going on vacation and cannot pick up, you get to pick a worthy friend or family member to enjoy the bundle Wonder for that week. **Please note, if you have chosen to add delivery to your order, we cannot transfer the delivery to another address. We set up our routes ahead of time and are unable to accommodate changes.
What if I have a problem with my flowers?
Communication
Alright flower friends, it is important for you to be satisfied with your product, but please understand that we are not responsible for your handling of the flowers once they leave our farm. We absolutely DO want to know if a flower is not holding well, because things happen on occasion and we want a chance to fix things if we are at fault. Please send photos and let us know within 12 hours so we can figure out what went wrong.
Communication about subscriptions will happen via email. We will send info to you with our business email info@bluetableflowers.com. Please add us to your contacts so that our communication does not end up in your spam folder. If you email us, but do not hear from us within 24 hours, please use our personal email ajkiwiet@gmail.com. We want to make sure that we do not miss communication from you.
Phone
We may need to contact you by phone on occasion, for example if you do not seem to be responding by email, or if we have time sensitive information we need to get to you.
If you have questions, please reach out.
We can’t wait to meet you!
